Why locate the first gynecocratic country in the history of humanity on the heart of the Pyrenees mountains?

The Pyrenees is a mountain range which extend nearly 500 km from their union with the Cantabrian Mountains (on the west) to Cap de Creus on the Mediterranean coast (East), reaching a maximum elevation of 3,404 metres at the peak of Aneto. It is straddling the border of France and Spain and it surrounds Andorra, a small country located on the Spanish-French border..
The Pyrenees Mountains has always fascinated us, women. Our feminine souls have always been in awe of its mountain landscape, its lakes, its basins, its rivers. The Pyrenees has a special charm, a magic that makes us feel powerful and free, that makes us feel like true women. Of course, such an impressive mountain range could not be without popular legends about its formation. Within its boundaries lie a great number of legends of witches and communities of rebellious women who organized their covens.
But let’s highlight the legend that gave these mountains their name and that reinforces the origin of our matriarchal queendom.
The legend of Pyrene
Tubal, grandson of Noah and king of the Iberian Peninsula, had a beautiful daughter named Pyrene, she was famous for her beauty and her passion for Mother Nature.

Pyrene was courted by Geryon, a three-headed monster who lived in Eritrea, in the south of the Iberian Peninsula. But Pyrene rejected him, for she was in love with Hercules, her lover.
Geryon decided to invade Tubal’s kingdom in order to take over his territory and, therefore, also his daughter. Geryon managed to defeat Tubal after a war, and Pyrene decided to hide herself in the wooded plains on the border of her father’s kingdom.
Since Geryon could not find her, he became angry and ordered the entire forest to be burned so that she would come out. But Pyrene did not come out and preferred to burn alive rather than surrender to Geryon.
When Hercules heard the news, he rushed to Pyrene’s aid, but it was too late; he found the young and beautiful girl dying, with hardly enough strength to explain what had happened.
Pyrene died in the arms of Hercules who, overcome with grief and remorse for not having helped the girl sooner, decided to build her the greatest mausoleum that ever existed. The strong hero began to accumulate stones and more stones, without rest, on the tomb of Pyrene, during centuries and centuries, he accumulated so many stones that he formed a splendid mountain range, the Pyrenees mountains.
According to legend, Pyrene is believed to lie beneath «Mount Aneto», the highest peak in the Pyrenees, over 3,404 meters high.
In this video you can see, and hear, the legend of Pyrene in Spanish language.
In the following video, in the form of a YouTube link, you can read the legend in French.
As we can see, the legend portrays a dignified and by no means passive female character who refuses to accept her fate. In fact, she refuses to accept the fate that the male world has in store for her. Pyrene rebels against the idea of being possessed by Geryon and first she flees, only to later sacrifice herself in the flames of the «new fire».
From the Greek «Pyros» means «fire» and «Neos» means «new».
Pirineos (Pyrenees) means «NewFire»
On the other hand, it presents the other two male characters in a very different way: Geryon, who wants to possess her by force, as a three-headed monster, and her lover, Hercules, as a knight who pays homage to the death of his lady by accumulating stones and more stones for centuries.

Our queendom embodies the spirit of Pyrene, her nonconformity and her rebellion against male power. Of course, we will fight for a queendom that relentlessly combats sexism and patriarchy (Geryon). On the other hand, we gladly welcome men, and boys, willing to accept our feminine authority, men willing to sacrifice themselves for us and for our gynocratic ideals (Hercules).

We know that our queendom will bring a breath of fresh air to new generations of girls yearning for a fairer world, a better world, a world entirely led and controlled by us, women. Don’t be afraid to feel the new dawn and join us. We don’t care about your age, your gender or your social, or cultural, origins as long as you share our ideals. Come with us and immerse yourself in the spirit of Pyrene. Your contribution is invaluable to us.
